Refund & Cancellation Policy

Donations to Sociium Foundation are voluntary contributions to charitable work and are not ordinarily refundable once processed.

• Duplicate transactions caused by a technical or gateway error.
• Incorrect amount charged due to a technical error on our platform.
• Failed payments where money was debited but no donation was recorded — these are typically auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days; if not, we will help resolve it.

To request a refund under these exceptions, write to us via the contact page within 7 days of the transaction, quoting your receipt number or Razorpay payment ID. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

You may cancel a recurring monthly donation at any time by writing to us via the contact page. Cancellation stops future charges; amounts already donated are not refundable.

If a donation is refunded, the corresponding receipt (including any 80G receipt) stands cancelled and must not be used for tax purposes.
